WINDOW REPAIRS

If your windows aren't sealed from the weather and are whistling even when closed, it's likely that the hinges need replacing and not the entire window. Window servicing is a small fraction of the cost of a new installation.

Draughty whistling window

This is a classic example of a closed window but still not sealed. Letting in sound and weather. Typically, worn out or broken hinges are responsible.

Worn out/broken hinges

Hinges can become worn and have excessive movement preventing correct operation and closure. This can lead to the hinge mechanism snapping completely.

Using specialist equipment the window is removed from the frame safely and replaced after the serviceable parts have been changed.
